Speculations are rife in political circles that YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be sent back to jail in New Year 2021.
Jagan faces several serious cases filed in CBI, ED and PMLA courts in quid-pro-quo cases, money laundering, corruption etc.
Jagan already spent 16 months in Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad in these cases.
He is currently out on bail and became CM but all his cases are still pending in various courts.
Following the Supreme Court's directions, the CBI, ED, and PMLA courts across India have expedited cases on public representatives.
Jagan's cases are expected to reach a logical conclusion in New Year 2021.
With CBI, ED, PMLA courts gathering solid proofs on YS Jagan's irregularities when his father late YSR was CM of Undivided AP between 2004 and 2009, it is widely believed that Jagan cannot escape and will be given jail sentence at least 10 years to 20 years.
As these cases are not enough, Jagan resorted to mudslinging on the judiciary by writing a letter to Supreme Court Chief Justice in October 2020 leveling serious corruption and favoritism charges against Supreme Court justice Ramana, AP High Court chief justice and judges of AP High Court.
Though the judiciary is maintaining silence and transferred AP chief justice and AP judge after Jagan's letter, it is widely believed that the entire judiciary is very angry at Jagan leveling serious allegations against judges, while Jagan himself is A-1 (Accused No.1) in over 20 cases and currently out on bail.
