The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has put three options before the state government over the issue of Inter Advanced Supplementary Exams 2020.
The first option is holding Inter Adv Supplementary Exams for both Inter first and second year students.
The second option is holding exams only for second year students.
The third option is to pass all the failed students of first year and second year without conducting advanced supplementary exams b awarding grace marks.
TSBIE officials said they will go ahead with whatever decision taken by the state government on these three options.
A total of 3,74,492 students had appeared for the Intermediate second-year exams, out of which 2,60,703 students passed. Similarly, 2,63,463 students out of 4,31,358 who appeared for the Inter first-year exams have passed.
Highest number of students has failed in CEC stream in both first and second-year exams. While 1,25,126 students appeared for the second-year CEC exams, 67,062 have failed and in the first-year, 69,509 candidates out of 1,96,646 who appeared for the CEC exams failed.
