Students appearing for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET 2020) this year should give a self-declaration that they have not tested positive for the coronavirus or identified as a potential carrier of Covid-19.
The state government has made self-declaration mandatory to ensure the safety of students and staff in the exam centres. The candidates have to declare if they have any of the COVID-related symptoms, including cough, fever, cold or runny nose and breathing problem.
The form can be downloaded from the official website of TS EAMCET or collected from authorities at the exam centre.
At the examination centre, no fingerprints will be captured this time unlike previous years. Only the bar code on the students’ hall tickets will be scanned. Candidates shall enroll with photo capture before the start of the examination. They must wear masks and gloves.
This year, 2,21,519 students, including 1,42,655 for engineering stream, 78,569 for agriculture, veterinary stream and 295 for both streams have registered. Students can download hall-tickets from Eamcet official website from June 30.
