TRS afraid of BJP in Dubbaka bypoll

The ruling TRS seems to be afraid of BJP and not Congress in the upcoming Dubbaka Assembly bypoll on November 9, 2020.

Though the Congress is the main opposition party in Telangana, it is completely lagging behind in Dubbaka making the elections the fight between TRS and BJP.

TRS is yet to decide its candidate. It is considering to field late Dubbaka MLA Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy's wife or his son.

The BJP too yet to decide its candidate though it is almost confirmed that M Raghunandan Rao will be fielded because he is already taking up extensive campaigning in Dubbaka.

The Congress on the other hand is completely clueless on whom to field.

The TRS too is treating BJP as its main rival rather than Congress.

Raghunandan Rao, hailing from Velama community, to which Telangana CM KCR's family belongs, is giving a tough fight to TRS. The velama community dominates politics in Undivided Medak district, in which Dubbaka falls. Velama community is reportedly supporting Raghunandan and not a Reddy candidate from TRS.

This is giving jitters to KCR, KTR and Harish Rao, who took this election prestigiously since Medak in their home district and they don't want to lose to BJP, that too on their home turf.
