Telangana to witness heavy rains from June 10, says IMD

Though the rainy season has commenced from June 1, the Telangana State is yet to witness major rainfall.

However, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has come out with a piece of good news on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

The IMD predicted that Telangana State will witness heavy rains for the next five days.

The IMD predicted that Mahabubnagar, Suryapet, Narayanpet, Nalgonda, Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool districts will witness heavy rains from June 10 to 13.

The IMD stated that the monsoon is getting active over Telangana under the impact of low-pressure. It said several places in Telangana will witness heavy rain on June 10 and 11.
