Telangana High Court clears TS SSC exams 2020 from June 8
The Telangana High Court on Tuesday allowed the state government to conduct SSC exams (Class X/ 10th class state board) exams from June 8, 2020
These exams were supposed to be conducted in March/ April but were postponed abruptly due to corona lockdown in state from March 22.
High Court asked state government to ensure that there is a gap of two days between each exam.
The High Court asked state government to submit a report on the status of corona cases in Telangana by June 4 explaining measures what steps it would take to protect students from coronavirus during exams.
The state government informed High Court that it will take adequate safety measures to check spread of coronavirus in exam centres by following physical distance norms strictly.
The government said seating will be provided for students in exam centres following physical distance norms. It stated that sanitisation will be taken up at exam centres every day.
Telangana SSC exams were to be conducted from March 19 to April 6 as per original schedule.
