The Telangana state government is making arrangements to conduct exams for degree(under graduate (UG)), post graduate (PG) and engineering students in July.
These examinations have been postponed due to corona outbreak and subsequent lockdown since mid-March.
However, the government is planning to conduct exams only for final year students of UG/ PG/ engineering courses.
It may be recalled that the UGC has asked all the universities to take steps to conduct exams from July 1.
In this backdrop, the Telangana government has convened an high level meeting on June 18 to take a decision on conducting exams and also finalise the exams schedule.
The government is planning to conduct the exams in two shifts two avoid rush in exam centres and ensure physical distancing between students. Also it is planning to reduce exam duration from three hours to two hours
