#SpeakUpTelangana, a big hit, Netizens troll KCR, KTR for mishandling of corona

The online social media campaign #SpeakUpTelangan launched by Telangana Congress at 10 am today July 18,2020 to to voice the concerns of people of Telangana on corona situation in state which has reached alarming levels and to express ire at the CM KCR-led TRS government for its inept handling of corona situation, turned out to be a big hit.

The online campaign was launched simultaneously on all social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Whatsapp between 10 am and 5 pm on July 18.

Within minutes of the launch of campaign at 10 am, lakhs of netizens posted messages on social media platforms expressing anger at KCR for his callous attitude in controlling corona putting the lives of Telangana people at risk.

Netizens are especially angry over KCR's statement made on July 17, 2020, asking people not to go to private hospitals for corona treatment. They questioned why TRS ministers, MLAs, leaders who contracted coronavirus were undergoing treatment in corporate hospitals.

They asked KCR to tell his party leaders first to undergo treatment in Government hospitals before asking people not to go to private hospitals.

Netizens are posting the pictures and videos of pathetic condition of Osmania General Hospital, which got flooded due to rains two days ago and horrible facilities available at Gandhi Hospital and asking him how can people avail treatment in these government hospitals.

Netizens are also expressing anger at KCR for disappearing for two weeks recently and taking rest at his farmhouse in Erravelli on Hyderabad city outskirts when thousands of Telangana people are contracting virus every day and facing lot of hardships with no facilities in govt hospitals and private hospitals charging lakhs of rupees as fees and also denying admissions to patients by creating artificial shortage of beds.
