Rs 40,000 bribe in TS to convert school from state syllabus to CBSE!

Officials of school education department in Telangana state were caught red handed by the officials of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday, July 6, 2020, while they were accepting bribe of Rs 40,000 from a private school management.

Officials demanded the bribe to issue NOC (no objection certificate) for converting the school from state syllabus to central syllabus (CBSE)

ACB sleuths conducted raids at the office of the School Education department in Lakdikapul and arrested two persons who had demanded and received a bribe of Rs 40,000.

The arrested persons have been identified as Laxman, a superintendent and Vipul, a junior assistant. Officials received a complaint that two employees were demanding a bribe from the management of Sancta Maria school at Ghatkesar in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, located on Hyderabad city outskirts.
