Reddys, Kapus to be removed from YS Jagan cabinet!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is most likely to reshuffle his cabinet on April 11.

Speculations are rife in YSRCP circles that Jagan is planning to remove all the incumbent ministers and take fresh faces into the cabinet.

All these days it was believed that Jagan may continue three of four incumbent ministers due to caste and political equations in certain districts, but it is now being learnt that Jagan has decided to remove all the ministers since continuing three or four incumbent ministers may trigger dissidence and anger among other ministers who will be removed from the cabinet.

It is learnt that Jagan is planning to cut Reddy and Kapu community ministers in his new cabinet.

At present, there are four ministers from Reddy caste and five ministers from Kapu caste. Jagan wants to give only three minister posts for Reddy caste and four ministers for Kapu caste.

The two vacancies thus arising will be given to one BC and one ST caste. With this, the number of BC ministers and SC ministers will increase by one each.
