The booming real estate sector in Hyderabad and surrounding districts, namely Ranga Reddy, Medchal, Medak has been picked up after the easing of corona lockdown restrictions.
The property registrations have been witnessing a steep increase in all the districts of Telangana.
There was a slump in real estate market due to complete lockdown from mid-March to April end.
However, with lockdown relaxations in May and June, the property registrations picked up.
As many as 2,21,832 property documents were registered in Telangana since the beginning of new fiscal 2020-21.
The stamps and registration department has earned Rs 632 crore through registration charges.
Property registrations have increased in districts like Karimnagar, Warangal, Nizamabad, Khammam, Nalgonda etc.
