Even Telugu media moghul, Eenadu group founder Ramoji Rao too is not an exception.
All his media groups, including Eenadu news paper, ETV channels, ETV digital platforms plunged into financial crisis due to which the management has either imposed salary cuts or removed staff from jobs as part of cost cutting measures.
Now, the big news that is making the rounds is Ramoji Film City, the world famous and world's biggest film city has also plunged into financial crisis with no film or TV shooting for the since March due to corona lockdown.
There are no tourists or visitors to Ramoji Film City, which is the major source of revenue generation, since March as it was closed due to corona lockdown.
Under these circumstances, it came to light that Ramoji Rao has rented out Ramoji Film City to Hot Star- Disney for a period of three years unable to bear expenditure towards the maintenance of Ramoji Film City.
Ramoji Film City has either removed most of the staff or enforcing no work-no pay for existing staff due to financial crisis since March.
