A police complaint has been filed against Tollywood hero Allu Arjun and the unit members of Allu Arjun's new movie "Pushpa" in Adilabad district of Telangana State.
The complaint pertains to recent visit of Allu Arjun and unit members of "Pushpa" to the famous Kuntala Water Falls in Neredigonda mandal of Adilabad district.
His visit erupted controversy as hundreds of fans mobbed the star, took pictures and selfies at the spot in violation of Covid 19 norms on social distancing.
RTI activists association lodged a complaint with Neridigonda police station alleging that Allu Arjun and his team violated Covid 19 norms during their visit to Kuntala Water Falls and urged police to take stringent action against Allu Arjuna and his team.
They said that Kuntala Water Falls has been shut for public since March due to corona lockdown and questioned how officials permitted Allu Arjun and his team in large numbers in violation of the norms.
The activists also sought action against forest department officials for permitting Allu Arjun and his team in violation of Covid norms.
The activists also alleged that the Pushpa team has shot few movie sequences at the site without permission.
Police registered the complaint. However, police said cases will be booked against Allu Arjun and his team only after preliminary investigation is done into the incident.
