No lockdown in Hyd, KCR against lockdown!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandasekhar Rao Sunday, June 28, 2020 announced that he will take a decision on reimposition of total lockdown in Hyderabad (GHMC limits) in the next 3 or 4 days. He indicated that lockdown will be imposed for 15 days.

KCR said state cabinet will meet to discuss on this issue and take a final decision on lockdown.

Today is Thursday, July 2, 2020. Five days have passed since KCR made that statement.

No decision was taken on reimposition of lockdown in Hyderabad so far.

Leave lockdown, KCR did not hold even cabinet meeting so far.

TRS leaders said KCR is against reimposition of total lockdown in Hyderabad and for that reason he had ignored this issue even after five days. KCR is of the view that state economy will be badly hit if lockdown in reimposed in Hyderabad again. Also people will suffer due to loss of jobs, salaries, livelihood, business etc and for this reason KCR ignored the idea of reimposing lockdown in Hyderabad.

They say KCR wants to reimpose lockdown only in containment zones which are reporting higher corona cases but is against total lockdown in Hyderabad.
