A new Integrated Master Plan for Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will be released soon which is totally based on satellite maps.
At present, there are five different master plans for HMDA.
HMDA is spread over 7,250 sq.kms covering seven districts around Hyderabad.
At present, officials are taking into consideration five master plans to give permissions to building construction and others under respective jurisdictions. They are Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA), Hyderabad Airport Development Authority (HADA), Cyberabad Development Authority (CDA), Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad Act (MCH) and HMDA.
With five master plans, problems arise while giving permissions for building constructions and others.
Some areas are falling into two master plans leaving officials confused over which master plan to be followed in this case.
The Telangana state government is now planning to integrate all these five master plans into one and bring a new Integrated Master Plan for HMDA very soon.
