A strange demand has come up in Telangana with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao confining to his farmhouse in Erravelli on Hyderabad city outskirts for the past one week and not making any public or media appearance or not conducting any official meeting since then.
TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 raised suspicion on the health condition of CM KCR in the wake of reports of about 20 staff working in KCR's official residence Pragathi Bhavan contracting cornavirus and KCR shifting his base from Pragathi Bhavan to farmhouse.
Revanth while demanding the state government to release the health bulletin of KCR's condition to clear doubts among people on KCR's health condition also suggested to make either his son KT Rama Rao or his nephew T Harish Rao or health minister Etela Rajender as 'caretaker Chief Minister', if KCR is not in a position to discharge his duties as CM due to his health condition.
Revanth said no one will have objection if he makes KTR or Harish or Etela as CM because Telangana state now badly needs an 'active CM' who can handle corona situation in state effectively as corona situation has reached dangerous levels in Telangana, especially in Hyderabad since June 1.
It remains to be seen how the ruling TRS will react to Revanth's comments.
