KCR trolled for not attending Col Santosh funeral, Netizens praise Chhattisgarh CM!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is being heavily trolled by netizens for not attending the funeral of Indian Army soldier Col Santosh Babu, who was martyred during face off with Chinese soldiers in Ladakh. Col Santosh is the native of Suryapet in Telangana.

Let alone, attending funeral, KCR did not bother to place even wreath on the mortal remains of Santosh, when they arrived in military airport at Hakimpet on Hyderabad city outskirts.

It will not take even half an hour for KCR to reach Hakimpet in his convoy, but KCR did not go.

On the other hand, Telangana governor Tamilisai Soundararajan rushed to Hakimpet and paid her last respects to the martyred soldier. KCR on the other hand sent his son KTR to Hakimpet, who paid last respects. KCR deputed his minister G Jagadish Reddy to attend funeral at Suryapet.

Netizens expressed ire at KCR by posting the pictures of Chhatishgarh CM Bhupesh Bhagel, who himself carried the mortal remains of martyred soldier Ganesh Ram Kunjam on his shoulders and took part in the funeral, who belong to Chattisgarh state.

Netizens questioned KCR why he could not spare even half an hour to at least place wreath on the mortal remains of Santosh Babu, when they arrived in Hyderabad, if not took part in his funeral at Suryapet, who made Telangana proud by sacrificing his life for the nation.

They expressed ire at KCR asking saying when KCR could pay last respects to Nandamuri Harikrishna, the son of late AP CM, TDP founder NTR, who is just an actor and a politcian, why can't he do the same for martyred soldier, hailing from Telangana.

Netizens also took a dig at KCR for finding time to attend the wedding of Paritala Ravindra's son in Anantapur and several insignificant functions of politicians and businessmen but no time to spare for martyred soldier.
