The JNTU-Hyderabad which is planning to conduct final semester exams for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA etc in September 2020 has decided to set up exam centres near the homes of students.
Due to present corona conditions in city, students and parents are worried over appearing for exams, if exams centres are located at far way locations.
In this backdrop, the JNTU is identifying engineering colleges as exam centres which are located near to residential areas.
Students can choose the exam centres of their choice which are near to their homes.
If there are no engineering colleges in the vicinity, the JNTU-Hyd is setting up exam centres in pharmacy colleges and students can choose these colleges as exam centres.
JNTU-Hyd officials said that once exam centres are finalised, the university will release the schedule for UG/ PG exams to be conducted in September.
JNTU registrar Manjur Hussain said that guidelines would be issued to college principals in this regard soon.
