JEE Main, NEET: Students, parents build pressure on Modi to postpone with #MODIJI_POSTPONEJEENEET

Lakhs of students and parents across India are building pressure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for postponement of JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020, scheduled to be held in September amid Corona pandemic.

Students and parents are flooding social media platforms with posts demanding and requesting Modi to postpone the exam. They are requesting Modi not to put the lives of lakhs of students and parents at risk by adopting an adamant stand on holding NEET, JEE Main in September come what may.

Students and parents have created hashtag #MODIJI_POSTPONEJEENEET to press their demand on Twitter.

The hashtag is trending at No.1 spot on Twitter today, August 25, 2020 with 1.66 million tweets indicating how strong there is a demand for postponement of exams across India.

Students and parents from all States are flooding the hashtag with millions of tweets.

They are posting the recent pictures of entrance exams that were conducted in Karnataka (KCET, COMEDK), Gujarat (GUJET) etc recently where social and physical distancing norms have gone for a toss with thousands of students and parents converging at exam centres and questioning Modi how SOPs on physical distancing, isolation norms is possible for JEE Main, NEET exams for which nearly 30 lakh students have registered.

Few students and parents posted pictures of heavy floods in few States asking Modi how they could appear for exams in these circumstances.
