JEE Main, NEET postponement: Swamy becomes a ray of hope

Veteran politician and BJP Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy has become a ray of hope for lakhs of students appearing for JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020, who are demanding postponing of these exams in the wake of corona pandemic in India.

Social media is flooded with millions of posts requesting Swamy to ensure postponement of NEET, JEE Main, using his clout at Prime Minister Narendra Modi-level.

Students and parents are created a hashtag ##SWAMYJI_HELPJEENEET on Twitter to request Swamy for postponement of exams.

The hashtag has been receiving such a thunderous response that it is trending at the top spot on Twitter today, Monday, August 24, 2020 with over 1.54 million tweets so far.

Living up to the huge expectations of lakhs of students and parents, Swamy too is trying his best and leaving no stone unturned to ensure postponement of exams.

Swamy has already written to PM Modi and UMHRD minister Ramesh Pokhiriyal seeking postponement of NEET, JEE Main.

Today, August 23, 2020, Swamy warned BJP that it will have to face the consequences in 2024 Lok Sabha polls, if it refuses to postpone NEET, JEE Main as demanded by students and parents.

Swamy said the decision to 'impose' NEET, JEE exams would be a 'giant' mistake for the BJP,

Comparing the decision to Congress' mass sterilisation drive of 1976, which ultimately led to the downfall of the Congress party, Subramanian Swamy claimed that the BJP's decision to go forward with the NEET, JEE exams could have lasting memories on Indian voters.

It remains to be seen whether Swamy succeeds in his efforts to postpone NEET, JEE Main and bring smiles on the faces of lakhs of students and parents across India.
