AP, TS JEE Main, NEET exam centres increase!

Good news for students appearing for JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. JEE Main, NEET were postponed to September.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is planning to increase exam centres for JEE Main and NEET to ensure physical distancing in exam centres in the wake of corona pandemic.

NTA had earlier decided to set up 20 exam centres in AP and 6 in Telangana for JEE Main.

Similarly, NTA had earlier decided to set up 6 exam centres in AP and 4 in Telangana for NEET.

Now with changed scenario due to corona situation, the NTA is planning to increase centres in AP and TS.

In Telangana, around 70,000 students appear for NEET. But the exam is held only in Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam and Karimagar.

For JEE Main also, around 70,000 students appear in Telangana. But the exam is held in Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda.

Now, NTA is planning to hold NEET in Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda also.

An official announced in this regard is expected soon.
