JEE Main 2020: B.Tech Question paper Analysis, Expected cut-offs




JEE Main 2020 for engineering stream (B.Tech) was held successfully and smoothly across India today, September 2, 2020, Wednesday.


Going by the previous year trends, the expected qualifying cut off JEE Main 2020 will be 89 for general category while reserved category candidates can expect even lower cut off.



Session-1 was held in the morning from 9am to 12 noon and Session-2 was held in the noon session from 3 pm to 6 pm.


IIT Experts analysed the questions papers of two sessions.


According to IIT experts analysis for Session-I paper, questions were mostly of moderate difficulty.


They said Physics section was difficult, while Chemistry section was easy.



The questions asked under Maths sections were lengthy and time consuming.


A total of 75 questions were asked in the Session-I with 25 questions each in three subjects.


Coming to Session-2 paper analysis, the overall difficulty level was moderate.



Chemistry section was easy while Physics section was easy to moderate. The questions asked in the Mathematics section were difficult.


In Session-2 too, a total of 75 questions were asked in the Session-I with 25 questions each in three subjects.
