For admissions into IITs, besides JEE Advanced rank, students must secure at least 75 per cent marks in aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent exams. There also exists some relaxations to candidates belonging to reserved categories. However, qualifying the JEE Advanced 2020 and participating in the joint seat allocation process will not guarantee a candidate to get admission into the IITs. The admission will depend on the availability of seats during each round of seat allocation.
