All these days TRS chief and Telangana CM KCR was under the impression that Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan will do whatever he says and Jagan will never cross his line. KCR took Jagan and Jagan' friendship for granted with a belief that Jagan could defeat TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu and became CM of AP only because of KCR's help in 2019 AP Assembly polls.
But Jagan proved all these theories of TRS leaders wrong.
Jagan attacked KCR aggressively in the Apex Council meeting held by central government on October 6, 2020, in which Jagan and KCR participated via videoconference chaired by union jal shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Jagan fired at KCR for terming Pothireddypadu and Rayalaseema lift irrigation projects of AP as 'illegal'.
Jagan asked a straight question to KCR "Is your Kaleshwaram, Palamur Ranga Reddy project not illegal? Show me the approvals for both these projects if you argue they are legal."
Jagan also came down heavily on KCR's 'fake promises and assurances' made earlier when he met KCR at Pragathi Bhavan thrice in 2019.
"You told me then that I am ready to give 100 TMCs of water to every district in AP. But now your behaviour shows that you are ready to give even 50TMCs." Jagan said.
Jagan's aggression shocked KCR to such an extent that TRS insiders say KCR is yet to recover from this shock even two days after the meeting.
KCR realised that Jagan is not his 'puppet' but the son the dynamic and power leader late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy, who can go to any extent to protect the interests of the state and its people.
