Hyd Zoo, KBR park, all public parks in Hyd, Telangana reopened

The Telangana State government today, September 25, 2020, Friday, issued orders to reopen KCR National Park and all public parks (forest and municipal parks) in Hyderabad from Saturday, September 26, 2020.

Besides all public parks in all districts of Telangana will be reopened from Saturday.

However, the Nehru Zoo Park in Hyderabad will be reopened on October 6, 2020.

The zoo park reopening is delayed as clean up work will be taken up for 10 days.

The zoo and parks across Telangana remain shut since March 2020 due to corona lockdown.

Minister for Forests Allola Indrakaran Reddy said that all urban forest parks will be available to the public from Saturday and urged the people to take advantage of the lung spaces.

The minister directed the officials to take precautions and to allow visitors inside the parks in compliance with the Covid rules and physical distance norms.
