Hyd Lockdown: Cabinet to decide on July 2 !

Ever since Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao indicated of reimposing total lockdown in Hyderabad (GHMC limits) on Sunday, June 28, 2020, lot of speculations are doing the rounds over when lockdown will be reinforced.

KCR had told that the state cabinet will meet in the next 3 or 4 days and take a decision on lockdown in Hyderabad.

It is reliably learnt that the state cabinet will meet on July 2 to discuss and finalise lockdown in Hyderabad.

Official sources said the lockdown may be imposed from July 6 to July 20 for a period of 15 days.

The government would review the corona situation in Hyderabad on July 19 and take a call whether to extend or not..

If corona cases continue to rise even after 15-day lockdown, the government is planning to extend lockdown in Hyderabad till July 31.

A clarity on this issue will come after the cabinet meeting expected on July 2.
