Good news for Intermediate students in Telangana.
The Telangana state government has decided to cut Intermediate first and second year syllabus for the current academic year 2020-21 by 30%.
The decision was take in view of loss of working days due to corona lockdown since March 2020.
All the junior colleges in Telangana remain closed since March 2020.
Inter students lost 40 working days due to lockdown.
The number of working days for junior colleges came down to 182 days from the original 222 days.
To compensate for the loss of 40 working days, the Telangana state government has decided to cut Inter syllabus by 30 per cent.
The CBSE Board has also decided to cut Class XI, Class XII syllabus by 30% this year.
The Inter Board deleted syllabus in Maths and Science subjects, which was deleted by CBSE to ensure that Inter students don't face trouble while appearing for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, which are based on CBSE syllabus.
In humanities subjects, the Inter board has decided to delete chapters which are not important.
