Delhi University (DU) first cut-off list 2020

The schedule for the release of first cut-off list for admissions into prestigious Delhi University will be released on Sepember 24, 2020, Thursday.

In case of any delay for any reasons, this schedule will be issued on September 25, 2020, Friday.

The schedule will have cut-offs dates for UG, PG and PhD courses along with certificate verification dates.

DU cut-offs will be based on marks secured in the best four subjects in Class 12 board exams.

DU cut-offs are expected at higher level over last year as many CBSE Class 12 students have secured more than 95% marks in board exams this year.

The prestigious St Stephen's College cut off marks which were released recently were at unprecedented high of 99.25% for admission in BA Hons course.

Going by this, DU's cut off marks are also expected on similar lines.

The competition for seats in DU is also much higher this year over previous three years.

A total of 3,53,919 students had applied for 64,000 UG seats across DU.

New rules have been framed in Delhi Univesity this year. Students who would change their stream will face a deduction of 5 per cent marks if they are applying to BA courses.
