Chandrababu's right hand, Narayana Group owner Narayana to quit TDP, join YSRCP!

The ruling YSRCP in Andha Pradesh is all set to deliver yet another bloody blow to rival TDP.

Dr Ponguru Narayana, known to be the right hand of TDP chief and former CM N Chandrababu Naidu is making moves to quit TDP and join the ruling YSRCP anytime soon.

Narayana was nominated as MLC by Chandrababu and he was even taken into his cabinet by making him minister for key portfolio of municipal administration. Naidu even made Narayana the chairman of CRDA to oversee the construction of his dream capital city for AP, the Amaravathi.

Narayana is famous in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as he runs a chain of Narayana group of colleges across both the states. He even owns professional colleges like engineering, medical, pharmacy, dental etc. Narayana is considered to be the 'big funder' for TDP for long. Losing Narayana would prove costly for Chandrababu and TDP at this juncture, when the party is facing worst political situation since it was founded in 1982 by winning just 23 MLA seats in 2019 AP Assembly polls and set to lose even Main Opposition status with few MLAs quitting party and joining YSRCP and few more MLAs planning to quit TDP soon and YSRCP.

AP CM already took the decision to shift Amaravathi capital to Vizag. He ordered CID inquiry into Amaravathi land scam. It is rumoured that Narayana will be fixed and sent to jail in Amaravathi scam as he was heading CRDA and also municipal administration department.

Narayana has been maintaining distance from TDP eversince Jagan ordered CID probe into Amaravathi land scam. Speculations are rife that to come out of this crisis, Narayana has decided to quit TDP and join YSRCP.

Since Narayana enjoys financial power, Jagan too is learnt to have okayed his entry into YSRCP.
