CBSE Class X, Class XII results on July 15, no toppers list, only digital marksheets!

The much awaited CBSE Class X and Class XII board exams 2020 results are all set to be announced on July 15.

The CBSE officials are making all the arrangements to declare results online on July 15.

This time, the CBSE will not release toppers list or merit list.

The CISCE board too did not release toppers list, merit list for ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII results recently.

Officials say since the Class X and Class XII board exams are being evaluated in the new assessment method due to the disturbance caused to students on account of corona outbreak and subsequent lockdown, it was decided not to release merit list or toppers list this time.

This time, to minimise human contact, the board has decided to upload the marksheets on a digital platform like UMANG app and DigiLocker.

CBSE had announced that it will provide digitally-signed copies of the marksheets so that students can use them for submission during the admission process in colleges and universities.

It was also decided to provide digitally-signed marksheets this time to enable students for submission during the admission process in colleges and universities.

To get digital marksheets, students have to download DigiLocker app on their mobile phones.

Students can use their registered mobile numbers as password for the accounts, which the CBSE board has already created for them. This will generate an OTP.

Once they have entered the OTP, the system would prompt the students for a security pin. Students have to use the last six digits of their CBSE Roll number as the security pin.

Once logged in, students can check and download their CBSE Digital Mark Sheet from list of documents on the dashboard itself.

Alternatively, students may also register normally using their aadhaar card number and following the instructions.
