BJP Rajya Sabha member Sujana Chowdhary categorically stated that Amaravathi will remain as the capital of Andhra Pradesh, come whay may.
On the occasion of Amaravathi agitation completing 200 days on Saturday, July 4, 2020, Sujana Chowdhary said, "I had made it amply clear earlier that Amaravathi will remain as AP capital. I am making it clear again today that Amaravathi will remain as AP capital and AP capital will not move from Amaravthi even an inch."
Sujana Chowdhary indicated that the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre is in complete favour of continuing Amaravathi as AP capital and it take an 'appropriate decision' at an 'appropriate time' on AP capital issue.
Sujana reminded that the BJP had already passed a resolution seeking Amaravathi as the only capital of AP and it will abide by it.
Sujana reiterated that no one on this earth has the power or strength to move AP capital out of Amaravathi and it will be known to everyone soon what Centre will do to save Amaravathi from AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
