Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministe YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who is hell bent on shifting AP capital from Amaravathi to Vizag, is preparing ground to initiate the process of shifting the capital at the earliest notwithstanding the protests of Amaravathi farmers whose protests crossed 200 days recently besides protests by Opposition TDP.
Jagan has convened the crucial cabinet meeting on July 15, 2020 to discuss and take a decision on this issue.
Official sources said the cabinet is expected to devise a roadmap for shifting of AP capital from Amaravathi to Vizag.
Jagan wants to make 'strategic moves' in shifting the capital by starting working from Vizag first.
If CM starts working, naturally all other important offices and officials will start shifting to Vizag to assist CM.
Jagan' plan is that he wants to start working from Vizag from August and shift entire capital from Amaravathi to Vizag by Dasara, which is falling on October 25, 2020.
Jagan wants Vizag to work as full fledged capital from Dasara.
