AP govt allows online classes, new admissions in schools from July 27 to Sep 4, schools reopening

The Andhra Pradesh government on July 25, 2020 issued orders allowing all schools in the state to conduct online classes from July 27, 2020 to September 4, 2020.



Schools were also allowed to make admissions for new academic year 2021-21 from July 27, 2020.


The government has decided to reopen all schools from September 5, 2020.



However, online classes will not be allowed for pre-primary students (Below Class 5).


Schools should only advise parents for 30 minutes per day for pre-primary students on their learning activities.


For students from Class 1 to 8, the online classes will be allowed from 30 minutes to 45 minutes per session per day, that too only in two sessions per day.


For students of Classes 9 and 10, the online classes will be allowed for 45 minutes per session per day four four sessions.



No exams should be held for students from Class 1 to 8.


But for students of Classes 9 and 10, internal assessments will be allowed.
