As many as eight security personnel posted at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy's residence at Tadepalli were tested positive for coronavirus.
The development triggered panic among YSRCP leaders, cadre and police officials.
All the eight infected persons belong to AP Special Police Kakinada batallion.
Officials collected samples of all the security personnel posted at Jagan's residence on Friday, July 3, 2020 and sent for testing.
The results were out on Saturday, July 4, 2020, which revealed that eight personnel were infected with the virus.
Earlier, two more security personnel were tested positive at Jagan's residence.
All the eight infected personnel were shifted to hospital for treatment.
