7 Inter students commit suicide in Telangana within 2 days of announcement of Inter results

As many as 7 students committed suicide in Telangana within two days of announcement of Intermediate exam results. The results were announced on June 18.


These students committed suicide after they came to know that they had failed in the exams.


Some of them committed suicide for scoring lower marks than they expected.


K Shilpa (18 year old) of Chegunta in Medak district committed suicide by handing herself after she failed in one subject.



Sandeep (19 year old) of Miyapur in Hyderabad hanged himself to death after he failed in Mathematics by just 2 marks.


Solam Sarayu (15-year old) first year student of Gudur mandal in Mahabubabad jumped into an agriculture well after she failed in one subject.


Nikhita (18 year old) of Kulakacherla mandal of Vikarabad district hanged herself to death after she failed in 3 subjects each in first and second year exams.


Bhadrinath of Gajwel town committed suicide by hanging himself after he failed in two subject in first year.



Soni (16 year old) of Kalvakol village in Kothapalli mandal in Nagarkurnool district committed suicide by consuming pesticide after she scored lower marks than expected in first year exams.


Shravani (17 year old) of Gajwel hanged herself to death after she scored lower marks than expected first year exams.
