This incident exposed how pathetic the condition of government hospitals is in Telangana.
While Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his son, IT minister KT Rama Rao, health minister Etela Rajender make tall claims of developing government hospitals on par with corporate and private hospitals in Telangana under TRS rule during the past six years, the latest incident, that too in a major government hospital located in a major district headquarter, expose the ground reality in government hospitals in Telangana.
Hospital officials failed to notice the availability of oxygen in the hospital. The oxygen supply suddenly came to a halt with no stocks leaving four patients who were on oxygen support in the hospital.
